We’re so excited to announce that we’re resuming our “In-Person” monthly member meetings, starting with the June 10th meeting, and the Longhorn Cafe has once again offered to let us utilize their upstairs meeting room. Remember that the meeting starts at 6pm sharp, and if you plan to eat dinner during the meeting, you’ll want to be sure to arrive closer to 5:30pm to place your order—and/or phone in your order ahead of time and pick it up before you head upstairs. Our guest speakers are two of the co-founders of FOR Social Justice, Pratap Khanwilkar and Donta Watson.
Note: We will continue to make a Zoom link available for our monthly meetings, and will publish in our monthly newsletter for your convenience.
We meet on the second Thursday of the month (6pm) where we conduct club business, listen to informative and timely speakers, and enjoy the camaraderie of others who care about local, state and national issues.
As a member you will receive the ZOOM link with instructions to access our meetings via email.
Membership dues provide our base operating expenses, which allows us to maintain a post office box, website hosting and other ongoing costs to sustain the club. Members must approve expenditures over $250 and also vote on other issues, as required by our bylaws. We conduct business at our monthly membership meetings and encourage all members to attend.
Regular dues are $40.00 per year
Seniors (60+) join for $25.00 per year
Students only $10.00 per year!

Let's Make A Change
As a political action committee, BAD is able to utilize money from dues and donations to fund various local, state, and national candidates during election cycles. We also offer two $1,000 scholarships each year to seniors that are graduating from any Kendall County public high school. Additionally, we partner with the Kendall County Democratic Party to fund expenses associated with the KCDP office headquarters during national elections.
